THE SYSTEM

Rainwater management with a unique all-in-1 system

Rainwater is one of the most precious building blocks of life. Yet every day we let thousands of liters of pure rainwater disappear into the sewage system. We often do not think about this, but this is a costly matter, both for society and for our ecosystem.

Help nature in a natural way!

Rainwater infiltration systems such as Raincycle ensure that rainwater infiltrates into the soil in a controlled manner. The rainwater finds its way back to the natural water cycle via the soil water. You could say that in this way we give nature a helping hand .

Reduction of flooding and flooding

With an abundance of rainwater, infiltration systems reduce the risk of flooding and flooding . Due to its high degree of water permeability, large quantities of water can be infiltrated into the soil in a controlled manner.

After all, sudden and large amounts of rainwater in our sewage systems can cause a lot of misery.

Drainage system

If the soil nevertheless becomes saturated with soil water after continuous rainfall, the overflow of the infiltration system ensures that the excess water is discharged to the sewerage network. Because the geotextile also allows soil water to seep into the crates, Raincycle also works as a drainage system .

So no more swampy lawns and puddles in your ornamental garden.

What does the legislation say?

The use of rainwater infiltration is strongly promoted in the policy mission of the European government. Legislation is underway that will require the use of infiltration facilities for new builds and renovations .

BENEFITS

Fast & compact

Each Raincycle infiltration crate consists of 7 separate panels, which can be clicked together into a box in no time. The panels are already provided with 100% water-permeable geotextile. Once assembled, the crate is completely ready for use. Because Raincycle infiltration crates are not pre-assembled , they can be packaged and transported compactly, which also reduces the ecological footprint .

Modular

Raincycle engineers developed a very simple system, which is suitable for both self-installers and professional use. Unlike most industrial systems, Raincycle is designed for small and medium-sized installations, such as car parks, homes and apartment buildings. The system consists of separate modules that are linked together to create a custom installation . So no more calculations by specialized firms.

You combine as many modules as necessary.

Environmentally conscious

To complete the story, Raincycle consistently opts for sustainable and recycled materials . This means that we are committed to environmentally friendly plastics that can be completely recycled again. In this way, Raincycle contributes to the circular economy.

CONNECTION

Direct connection to the rainwater drainage

When the rainwater drainage from the roof, terrace or car park is connected directly (without rainwater well), it is important that a sand filter is placed in front of the infiltration crates. This prevents the infiltration system from becoming blocked by residual dirt and sand. If the overflow of the infiltration system is connected to the sewage network, it is best to install a non-return valve.

Place all pipes at a slope of 1 cm per meter. This is to guarantee a smooth drainage of the water.

When the rainwater drainage from the roof, terrace or car park is connected to a rainwater well, the infiltration crates are directly connected to the landing. If the overflow of the infiltration system is connected to the sewage network, it is best to install a non-return valve.
