IBA systems for biological wastewater treatment
Individual Waste Water Treatment (IBA) From 1 January 2005, no unpurified household waste water may be discharged. There are places where households do not yet have a sewer. Even then one must purify the waste water. This can be done via a purification facility, also known as IBA. IBA stands for Individual Treatment of Waste Water.
Diederen supplies an extensive program of concrete and plastic IBA systems and supplies accessories and conversion kits to upgrade your current septic tank to any desired class. Temporary and / or mobile systems are also possible.
The systems are used for residential houses, farms, houseboats, campsites, bungalow parks, apartment complexes, beach tents and other situations where the sewer cannot or may not be discharged.
What is an IBA system?
Individual Waste Water Treatment, IBA for short, is a system that purifies household waste water. It removes sludge, suspended dust particles and organically degradable material from the water. Up to the level that is acceptable for the competent authority (municipality, water board etc.)
IBA system class 1 (Septic tank):
In exceptional cases, these are still permitted by the competent authority. These are usually situations in which a different type of IBA is demonstrably not working. (For example, too little dirt load).
IBA system class 2:
Removes floating and settling substances with the help of oxygen.
IBA system class 3a:
The same applies to class 2, but with (de-) nitrification (including phasing out of ammonium and NH4 and other nitrogen compounds).
IBA system class 3b:
Same as class 3a, but with Defosfatering. (phasing out phosphates)
The IBA systems class 2 and 3 are suitable for the biological purification of household applications. In addition to the IBA systems class 2 and 3, we can also supply complete biological purification and water reuse systems, for example for car washes (industrial).
Possible applications are:
The advantages of our IBA systems include a modular construction, an above-ground or underground solution, a high recycling value, easy operation and low operating costs.
