These line drainage gutters have been the most sustainable solution for drainage projects for years.
The self-supporting HRI grate gutters from Stradal are marketed in the Netherlands by Diederen Afwateringstechniek. A self-supporting line drainage, equipped with a cast iron "BANANE" or "SAÔNE" profile grille class D, 400KN or F, 900KN.
Stradal HRI® line drainage gutters are the most sustainable solution for drainage projects. The patented production method, in which use is made of a very high (self-compacting) concrete quality and in which the gutters are provided with a steel longitudinal and transverse reinforcement, to which also the galvanized corner profiles and screw sleeves are coupled, give the possibility that HRI® gutters are installed without a supporting back could be. Even with traffic class F, 900KN. In accordance with NEN-EN 1433, drainage gutters for traffic areas, the HRI® gutters fall under the so-called I-type.
In addition, HRI® gutters are fitted with pre-assembled, specially developed, nodular cast-iron gratings. The profile ensures optimum and rapid absorption of water. The HRI® gutters are also equipped with a barge / nut end. In combination with the pin / hole connection, this ensures optimum support between the channel elements. Thanks to the prepared sealant joint, it is possible to finish the elements in a liquid-tight manner. Sand trap elements and end plates can be supplied with a PVC or HDPE connection.
The demands placed on drainage systems are becoming increasingly challenging. In addition to the basic function of good drainage, aspects such as appearance, ease of maintenance, available installation height and method of installation also play an increasingly important role. Standard gutter systems from concrete or polymer concrete have their strengths, but also have limitations due to the required standardization. The ExoDrain was developed with that in mind.
The ExoDrain consists of an external (EXO) "skeleton" made of CorTen steel (or stainless steel). This skeleton is filled with concrete, creating an extremely strong construction that offers many advantages.
The ExoDrain does not require any concrete foundation or further lateral supplementation with concrete on a sufficiently load-bearing surface. (Type I acc. To NEN-EN 1433). As a result, there is no ugly wide concrete strip on the road surface that is normally around 10 cm wide quickly. The gutter width and height can be adjusted to any situation (even slope and "counter shot" are possible). Due to the choice of materials, it is also possible to fabricate long gutter lengths (up to 3 meters) and one-piece corner pieces. This ensures shorter installation times and a perfect end result!
Special grid covers
Cast iron gratings can only be made in lengths of half a meter. If the grid cover is made in CorTen or stainless steel, lengths of up to 3 meters can also be produced. Because everything can be made to measure, the gratings can be produced entirely according to the customer's wishes. Of course, traffic tax must be taken into account!
